Getting Started with Mac

Trackpad

  • 1 finger = left click
  • 2 finger = right click or scroll/drag
    • To set up Right Click on Track Pad, select Secondary Click under the One Finger option in Trackpad
      preferences.
  • control + click = right click
  • 2 finger spread = zoom
  • 3 finger swipe = rapidly switch through documents
  • 4 finger swipe = manipulate the finder

 

F Keys

  • F1 and F2 = Screen Brightness
  • F3 = Expose Key 
  • F4 =  Dashboard Key
  • F5 and F6 = Illumination Keys
  • F7 - F9 = Media Keys
  • F10 - F12 = Mute and Volume Keys
